MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Country Roads Trust, the Name, Image and Likeness leader for West Virginia University student-athletes, will produce a weekly Climbing the Mountain video podcast beginning March 24.

Country Roads Trust Director of Social Engagement Amanda Mazey and former WVU offensive lineman Dale Wolfley will host the podcasts, which will run through the Mountaineer spring football drills.

“We’re excited to provide such lively content to Mountaineer fans everywhere,” said Country Roads Trust COO Stephen Ford.

“Amanda and Dale will interview coaches and players and keep us up-to-date on Mountaineer developments.”

Sponsored by Encova, the Climbing the Mountain video podcasts will be released each Thursday during spring ball and conclude with a wrap-up show after the annual Gold-Blue Spring Game.

The air dates are March 24 and 31 and April 7, 14, 21 and 28.

The podcasts can be accessed on the Country Roads Trust website at www.countryroadstrust.com.

“We’re really looking forward to the podcasts,” Ford said.

“It will be fun, as well as informative, and will allow us to keep Mountaineer fans current on news and events surrounding Country Roads Trust.”

Country Roads Trust, co-founded by WVU alumni Ken Kendrick ’65 and Oliver Luck ’82, is an independent company set up to obtain contributions to create Name, Image and Likeness opportunities for Mountaineer student-athletes.

It has the backing of an elite Athlete Advisory Team that consists of storied WVU sports legends Jerry West, Don Nehlen, Pat White, Darryl Talley, Da’Sean Butler, Mike Gansey, Ginny Thrasher, Pat McAfee, Jaida Lawrence Hart and Jedd Gyorko.

Country Roads Trust is aligned closely with the mission of WVU.
