GIRLS BASKETBALL

Campbell Memorial 44, Sebring 18 – Cayla Marshall scored a game-high 16 points and the Red Devils earned a convincing win over the Trojans on Wednesday. Madison Shurger added 9 points in the win. Blake Thomas led Sebring with 8 points.

Boardman 50, Harding 35 – Mackenzie Riccitelli scored 12 points and Emma Mills added 11 as the Spartans (4-9) won their second in three games on Wednesday. Ava Freeborough and Reagan Smith both added 8 for Boardman. Makaila Powell tallied 11 to lead Harding.

Struthers 42, Ursuline 38 – After a slow start in the first quarter, the Wildcats trailed by 8 points. But, they exploded for 20 points in the second frame, while holding the Fighting Irish to just 4 points, and never looked back. Chloe Neider led the charge with 19 points while Faith Stellato added 9. Alayna Smith scored a game-high 22 points for Ursuline.

West Branch 54, Carrollton 41 – Sophie Gregory led the way to another West Branch victory with 12 points on Wednesday. The Warriors (12-3, 7-1) had four total players in double-digits with Sydney Mercer scoring 11 and Anna Lippiatt and Livvie Showalter each scoring 10.

Southeast 45, Kennedy 31 – The Eagles and Pirates battled back-and-forth all night long but a strong second half by Southeast ended up being the deciding factor as it cruised to victory. Reagan Pettigrew led the way with 16 points for Southeast. Grace Hadley, Isabella Mauro and Julia Toth, and Kennedy Caldwell all scored 6 points in the loss.
