The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Gregg County and Rusk County, both of the counties of which Kilgore spans.
The watch was issued until 10 p.m., and also includes East Texas counties Anderson, Bell, Brazos, Burleson, Camp, Cherokee, Collin, Dallas, Delta, Ellis, Falls, Fannin, Franklin, Freestone, Henderson, Hill, Hopkins, Houston, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Lee, Leon, Limestone, Madison, McLennan, Milam, Morris, Navarro, Rains, Red River, Robertson, Rockwall, Smith, Titus, Upshur, Van Zandt, Williamson and Wood.
