JACKSON — The Marshall Tigers boys basketball team defeated the Jackson County Central Huskies 61-47 on Tuesday evening.

Noah Wilts led the Tigers in scoring with 20 points and Cayden Werner added 12 points. Tigers forward Charlie Jacobson led in rebounds with seven and Marshall’s Tyler Maeyaert, Omar Abdi and Andrew Elton all led in steals with two each.

Marshall (14-7) will face Pipestone Area at home today at 7:15 p.m.

Nathan Fenske led Lakeview with 23 points while Taiven Isaackson added 10 and Koltin Mulder recorded six. Ethan Schwankl led in rebounds with seven while Fenske, Owen Louwagie and Schwankl led in assists with three each.

Christian Wendland led TMB with 29 points while Tony Nelson added 24, Noah Swenhaugen had 23 and Trevor Smith had 10. Nelson led in rebounds with 13 while Swenhaugen led in assists with five.

Trevor Gray led Canby with 29 points while Evan Weber added 20 and Ty Stoks had 15. Gray also led in rebounds with eight while Dylan Houseman led in assists with five.

TMB (15-5) will face YME at home on Friday at 7:15 p.m. while Canby (4-16) will face Lakeview at home on Friday at 7:15 p.m.

Knights guard Faith Thompson led her team in scoring with 10 points while Ella Hesse added nine. Camry Swanson led in rebounds with five while Lexi Schreurs and Gabrielle Borresen led in assists with three each.
