All Grand Forks Public and Grand Forks Air Force Base Schools will start two hours late tomorrow, Wednesday, January 5. Start times will be 10 a.m. for Head Start and High School, 10:15 a.m. for elementary, 10:30 a.m. for Nathan Twining Elementary and Middle Schools, and 10:40 a.m. for middle school. Also, buses will run two hours late. There will be no breakfast or morning activities.
East Grand Forks School and buses will be running 2 hours late on Wednesday (1/5).
UND will close at 7:00 p.m. and reopen Wednesday (1/5) at 10:00 a.m. due to weather.
NCTC campus closed until 10:00 a.m.
The North Dakota Department of Human Services offices in Devils Lake, Fargo, Grafton, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Rolla and Valley City will delay opening until 10 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 5, due to hazardous weather conditions.
The City of East Grand Forks is declaring a snow emergency which will take effect at midnight on Wednesday, January 5th. The emergency shall remain in effect until all streets have been cleared to their full width. During a snow emergency there is no parking allowed on City streets. Vehicles parked on the street during a snow emergency are subject to ticketing and towing.
Grand Forks Public Health’s COVID-19 testing event, scheduled to take place tomorrow (1/5) at University of North Dakota’s (UND) Fritz Pollard Jr. Athletic Center, will be closed tomorrow due to inclement weather. COVID-19 testing will resume at UND’s Fritz Pollard Jr. Athletic Center Wednesday, January 6, 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
